Meet Dr. Ben Bouchard, DDS, MS
Dr. Ben Bouchard is excited to be back in his home state and part of the Karl Orthodontics family. Originally from the small town of Spruce, Michigan, Dr. Bouchard has always loved combining science, creativity, and personal connection — which is exactly what drew him to orthodontics.
He studied Physiology at Michigan State University and earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan in 2023. He then went on to complete his orthodontic residency and Master of Science at the University of Iowa, where he was proud to serve as Chief Resident and received national recognition for his research and presentations.
Dr. Bouchard is passionate about providing thoughtful, personalized care and believes that a great smile can truly change lives. Throughout his training, he’s stayed involved in giving back — volunteering at clinics in underserved communities across Michigan and even traveling to Kenya to provide volunteer care abroad.
When he’s not working on smiles, you’ll find him outdoors — camping, kayaking, paddleboarding, or hiking — or at home trying out new recipes in the kitchen. He’s thrilled to be serving the West Michigan community and can’t wait to get to know you and your family.
